Work-Based Learning (WBL) is an essential part of your high school experience at Brooklyn Nexus High School. It gives you the chance to explore careers, gain job skills, and build your resume before you graduate.Whether you're part of the Cisco Networking Academy, PLTW Engineering, NAF Hospitality, or FutureReady Cybersecurity, WBL connects what you learn in class to the workplace.
All WBL students must log their work-based learning hours using the official NYC DOE tracking system:

If you’re unsure how to log in or what qualifies as a WBL activity, speak with your WBL Coordinator or CTE teacher.
We partner with companies, organizations, and colleges to offer WBL activities such as:
📍 Visit the WBL Bulletin Board outside Room [Insert Number] or speak with your CTE teacher to explore upcoming opportunities.
